FEDERAL WAY, Wash., Oct. 27, 2011 — John S. Jarstad, M.D., was recently featured in the October 24th issue of the national magazine, Newsweek. The showcase highlights Dr. Jarstad as a “Leader in Laser Eye Surgery” and ranked him as one of the top 15 eye surgeons across the United States.
Board certification, scientific research, years in practice, recommendations by patients and other doctors nationwide were factored into the award selection and ranking. “It was quite a surprise to hear that I was nominated for this honor,” says Jarstad. “It is a tribute to my outstanding staff and my colleagues at Evergreen Eye Center.”
