National Facebook Contest Winner Selects Evergreen Eye Center to Perform Implantable Contact Lens (ICL) Surgery

Lakewood, WA, resident Mark Yeatman won a national contest through Facebook and received a free Visian Implantable Contact Lens (ICL) surgery performed at our Federal Way, surgical facility on 12/01/11. This procedure is a remarkable alternative to LASIK. Mark selected Evergreen Eye Center’s corneal expert Dr. Gary Chung to perform the surgery which took place on 12/01/11. Visian ICL Implantable Lens sponsored the contest through their Facebook page. The contest required any applicant to have already been examined and screened for the procedure by an ophthalmologist and deemed an appropriate candidate before their entry would be considered. Applicants submitted video entries and then fans of Vision ICL Implantable Collamer Lens voted on their favorite applicant based on the compelling content in the videos. Congratulations to our patient and contest winner Mark who is now enjoying life with excellent vision without glasses.
