Seattle, WA, Jan. 31,2014 — Margaret Larson, the host of KING 5 -TV’s New Day interviewed Dr. Jarstad, founder of Evergreen Eye Center, on the most advanced cataract procedure in 30 years–bladeless cataract surgery. The segment aired January 30th and also featured Evergreen Eye Center Patient Ron Gibson, a retired Federal Way school teacher now living in Snohomish. Ron recently underwent laser cataract surgery on both eyes and tells about his improved vision at all distances and how his night vision for driving has been restored. Evergreen Eye Center’s surgeons Dr. Tester, Dr. Chung, Dr. Day and Dr. Jarstad are the first in the state and the only ones in the entire Seattle-Tacoma area to offer bladeless laser cataract surgery.
